After Bruen, gun rights groups are suing local governments to strike down restrictions on assault weapons and large-capacity magazines. We’re defending them.
THE IMPACT
This case will test whether local governments can still outlaw the public carrying and possession of assault weapons and large-capacity magazines, following the Supreme Court’s sweeping opinion in NYRSRPA v. Bruen. If the governments win, R.M.G.O. v. Superior will impose life-saving limits on the Supreme Court’s decision in Bruen.
THE TEAM
Free + Fair is working with EVERYTOWN FOR GUN SAFETY and DAVIS POLK to represent four Colorado local government entities: the Town of Superior, the City of Louisville, the City of Boulder, and the Board of County Commissioners of Boulder County.
